Grand Theft Auto IV Review

Grand Theft Auto IV, a free roam game where the driving mechanics are awesome while some of the shooting mechanics lacks a little. Driving in the game to me is the funniest thing in the game, either racing friends or playing a game of cops and robbers; you are constantly doing insanely maneuvers to get where you need to go. Some of the best driving in the game is if you go to the airport and simply drive around and go off of the jumps. You can be seen doing barrel rolls or motorcycle flips if you can get the right jump and the right speed. Going into the shooting mechanics of the game, changing weapons isn’t always quick because it’s not always the same button if you’re in a car or on foot, and it’s a cycle of weapons so you have to click one button over and over again until you get to your desired gun. Being able to shoot from the car is still a great tool but it has some confusing controls even for driving or passenger seat shooting. The multiplayer of the game has many fun and unique games to play and some multiplayer missions. The campaign has you running around for one gang at a time, doing what could be called errands but it does allow you to explore the city and learn new tricks to becoming the master of New York. Overall this is a fun game to play for the free roam and the multiplayer. Campaign can be less fun but still is a great story line.
