Mortal Kombat X takes one of the most popular fighting game franchises to a whole new level. This game retains the classic one on one battle modes. The traditional energy meter is prominently displayed to give players real time updates about the damage sustained during a fight. As always, the signature fatalities can be executed by the winner of each battle. Mortal Kombat X also allows the fighters to use their surroundings for leverage such as bouncing off walls and grabbing random objects. The character lineup in Mortal Kombat X includes popular classic fighters such as Sub Zero, Scorpion, Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade and Shao Khan. A brand new story line set in a cold mythical forest adds some excitement to Mortal Kombat X. Improved game physics also make certain maneuvers seem more liquid and natural compared to earlier versions.
