R.B.I. Baseball is a classic baseball simulation game series for Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) developed by Namco. The first array was released back in December 1986, published by Tangen. The latest sequel is the R.B.I. Baseball 16 released on March 29, 2016, for PC, iPhone, iPad, Android, Xbox One, Mac and PlayStation 4 published by MLB Advanced Media.
This year, Mookie Betts will be the cover athlete for R.B.I. Baseball 16, becoming the second youngest player to be featured on an MLB video game cover at just 23 years old. You will find the game navigation to be pretty simple. So here are some things you should know about the game:
- You can Play in four modes: The Exhibition Mode, The Season Mode, The Post-Season Mode and The Multiplayer Mode
- 30 authentic MLB ballparks with enhanced and improved graphics, lighting system and field layouts
- You can adjust your difficulty settings
- You can download roster updates of the 2016 season from start to finish
Enhanced Graphics: All of the 30 MLB ballparks will have a new and improved lighting system, entirely based on real field views, geographic locations, and additional high-resolution realistic layout elements.
Improved Batting and Defense Features: The improved defensive Al includes spectacular fielding capabilities like fake throws, dives, and wall catches. R.B.I. 16 is manufactured with augmented batting engine that will feature perfect timing.
Season SIM: While you play in the season mode, simulate a single game or multiple games to advance the season quickly or to get to the postseason.
Team Lineup: You can modify your teams’ lineup before the game starts or with in-game substitutions. It includes substitution strategies like double switches. You can set up the team lineup from the classic 16 player rosters or the franchises’ 40 man rosters.
Multiplayer Mode: Think you are skilled enough? Then take your skills to a whole new level and challenge others online. This is only available for Console and PC.
R.B.I. Baseball 2016 must be happy to bunt this year round, and I must say that it’s okay. But still, the game lacks in model and innovation which is yet to be improved. However, the controls are easy to use; the graphics are quite enhanced and, the SIMPLICITY of the game is what makes it more tempting to people.
