The Witcher 3The third game in the Witcher series returns Geralt of Rivia to the Northern Kingdoms in the midst of an invasion by the brutal Empire of Nilfgaard. Gameplay is a mix of action-based combat and role-playing, with players using their abilities as a Witcher (a monster hunter for hire) to create potions that temporarily give them superhuman abilities. Players who have played through the previous Witcher games can import their saved character, and their decisions in the previous games will shape the direction of the world and story of The Witcher 3. The three dimensional graphics in the game immerse players in a virtual countryside. All-new physics in the game engine provides precise simulation of the movement of machines, animals and farmers. These characters are responsible for keeping order in their worlds by collecting tokens and battling a myriad of diverse enemies that include fictional creatures. Many of the battles take place in colorful arenas as well as compact dungeons. A main boss is accompanied by a group of supporters in each of the fights. The CPUs must use their powerful arsenal to defeat all of the foes in sight. Players need to pay close attention to the stamina meter that can get depleted quickly when the opponents launch group attacks. Aerial moves can be used to hover above the enemies and strike the boss.
